DetailsIn 1977, Galston High School staged the Musical Comedy "Li'l Abner". This was quite an ambitious venture for an amateur theatrical group but ended up being very successful under the expert guidance of Musical Director J Hooton. The performances were staged in the multi-purpose gymnasium/hall. The large cast was supported by a production team of teachers, including Tom Richmond. The performances were accompanied by a live orchestra.
