Duffy’s Wharf

SuburbBobbin HeadTypeOtherDetailsDuffy's Wharf is on the eastern shore of Cowan Creek one kilometre upstream from Bobbin Head. Constructed by Peter Duffy in the mid 1850's in order to load timber. Only a few rocks remain to indicate the site which was also known as Sledgehammer Inlet because of its shape.
