DetailsAt 5pm on Sunday 21st January 2007 a bushfire broke out in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The site of the fire was in terrain that was inaccessible in the Bobbin Head and Apple Tree Bay area.
The bushfire crossed the F3 (M1) freeway which was closed as well as the Northern rail line.
